This woman! Gustaf got to know her when he got here, he walked here every day to hang out and have something cold to drink! He brought me here the first day I came to Kingston and me & Niki became close right away! I have spent every day in this shop before The reading centre in Trenchtown, helping Niki to get everything settled in the morning.
Every evening she and her husband Ryan and their kid Aakem have to take everything down, only to get it all up again the day after! Every other day the police go around to look for shop keepers who have their clothes, shoes or other things they sale lined up on the street. If they do, the police will confiscate all their things and only give them back if they pay them money. So this day was one of those days, so we had to move all the clothes from the street! It can't be an easy life to live, to say the least!
