Long way home from Jamaica

This is the shortest amount of time I've went away on a trip in a long time (apart from Romania), but it's still been like living in a bubble over there. I learnt a lot on this short trip, that is mostly thanks to Gustaf since he had already lived in Jamaica for a while when i got there. Through him I met some amazing people and also got to take part in the scenes of Trenchtown. Comparing to Brazil's favelas and other ghetto areas in Latin America, Trenchtown also had the same vibe of community. I am definitely returning here one day but fora longer period of time! This time it was heartbreaking to say goodbye - Aakem (Niki's son) cried in my lap for hours and I was hugging all the kids in Trenchtown all day. The women who runs the reading centre was truly amazing as well, never sees to not amaze me how strong relations you can get in such a short amount of time..

I didn't leave right away though, since my flight in Montego Bay got cancelled when I arrived in the airport, so I was sent to a 5 star all inclusive hotel(!!) that the flight company payed for. The place was insane, I felt too dirty to even step inside, haha.. But now, after 48 hours I am finally back home in cold, dark Sweden haha.. I miss them so much already, but words can't even describe how much I've missed my 20 little brothers here in Sweden in the refugees home, heading over there now and will hug them until they burst!! Can't wait ♥
