Downtown Yangon
Downtown Yangon is the buzzling center of Yangon where most of the tourists live and the most famous markets of the city lie. You will also fnd the colonial buildings that are still standing over there, they are really beautiful and picturesque - you can do a walking tour here to hear more about the colonial time. Apart from that there are so many markets wherever you look, all in all a very busy area! You will find massive churches, mosques, the old City hall and beautiful parks where families and friends are hanging out! I really liked this part of Yangon, it reminded me of most other colonial cities you visit when its a feel of many different cultures and histories in one place! :)
