Bike ride around Myeik
The way to move around here in South Myanmar is really by motorbike, every family seems to own at least two of them and its super easy to rent them as well! Last Saturday me and Romeo didn't know what to do so we decide to rent a motorbike and cruise along the coast of Myeik! It's a very authentic experience to do this since you drive through villages and get to interact with many locals this way :)
Romeo has GPS on his phone so we use that to tried to find new roads to drive on and make a loop back to the city at night! At one point on the way back we saw on the map that we had to cross a river but there was no road... We took a chance and guessed the village nearby were offering some help with a boat or so, and we were right! For about one dollar they carried our moped on a wooden boat and got us over to the other side :) Beautiful day!

On our way back we realized that our light didn't work on the motorbike, when a local man saw this he got some cables and fixed it for us... just like that! I love these handy people in these parts of the world, where you don't learn to just buy new or pay somebody else to fix it for you, you learn to fix things yourself!
