Learning Hindi
//
For this trip I've decided to learn some hindi, even if most people speaks English in India I do believe that you interact differently with people if you speak their language. After almost 1,5 year in Latin America I learned that my Spanish got me to meet people and see places I otherwise never would have seen. I studied some Hindi by myself at home before we left and also practised together with my amazing friend Nisha who I got to know two hears ago when I worked in a small Coop store in Stockholm. She was a customer that came in with her husband and child when I approached them and asked where in India they were from and told them about my love for India. She explained that they just arrived to Sweden because her husbands' company needed him here, they are still here today and Nisha have now started to learn Swedish! Only a week before me and my mom left we met them for a coffee to say goodbye and also get some help with our Hindi studies :) Soon we'll be able to practise for real in India, I expect a lot of laughs at our pronunciation :P
